“The Right to Education” Call for Entries

Details: On March 10 2011 poster for tomorrow launched its call for entries for its 2011 edition the right for education. Every year poster for tomorrow chooses a basic human right to draw attention to. The global design community is then invited to make posters on this theme that are exhibited around the world on International Human Rights Day, December 10th.
All you have to do is create a poster then upload it on the poster for tomorrow Website. The best posters as selected by a jury of graphic designers will be published in a book and exhibited around the world on December 10th. The brief is available to download here.

Project Never
Deadline: May 6, 2011

Details: Project Never is a free awards competition created by graphic designers for graphic designers. Thousands of effective designs die each day – often for good reasons. At the same time, successful designers and agencies generate many worthy ideas for each project or campaign, only one of which gets chosen for wider audiences. Anyone may submit one entry, as long as the design concepts were developed between January 1, 2010 and February 19, 2011.

Annecy YouTube Animation Competition
Deadline: May 1, 2011
Cost: Free
Details: The Annecy International Animation Film Festival and YouTube are launching the second edition of the Annecy YouTube competition. Participants should submit an animated short film on video of a running time of no longer than five minutes, taking into account the specific theme: “Animation, land of freedom”. The winner will receive prizes including a Cristal trophy, a diploma and a week at the Annecy Festival (France) from 6th to 11th June 2011 where the film will be screened.
