
Popcorn Indiana partners with the Art Directors Club Student Awards competition this year, (deadline March 18).
Attention design students! Registration for the 90th Annual Art Director’s Club Awards is open (click here to submit). More than ever students need to stand out from the graduating crowds. Winning an ADC Cube is a great way to broadcast your accomplishments and talents, those of your professors and your school. You work will be seen and evaluated by world renowned creative directors, art directors, photographers, illustrators, designers and copywriters representing the international vision of ADC. Each year, ADC bestows Design Firm of the Year, Advertising Agency of the Year, Network of the Year, Interactive Agency of the Year based upon cumulative points for winning work that year, and last year ADC added School of the Year! Check out this great opportunity:
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
2010 graduates and students currently enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education programs in advertising, graphic design, photography, illustration, and new media are eligible for the competition, and are invited to submit published or unpublished work in any category except the ADC Hybrid, ADC Design Sphere and Playground categories. Deadline to enter: March 18th, 2011.
Please Note: Students entering the 2011 ADC Student Brief are also eligible to enter the Annual Awards. General entry deadline, January 28th, 2011 has been extended to February 4, 2011.

Popcorn Indiana is looking for a marketing plan that will make their psychotically delicious, popcorn snacks crave-able household favorites.
THE BRIEF
How do you get a large number of people to try the product, lose their minds, regain snacking consciousness, buy lots of product, tell all of their friends and loved ones, and then get them to buy the product again?
THE DETAILS
The product is delicious.
Snacks are social.
The budget is modest.
Distribution is nationwide – 80,000 stores (including Walmart, Walgreens, Whole Foods, Wegmans…and that’s just the stores that begin with a W!)
The company profile: a scrappy team, ready to take some chances.

All Gold, Silver and Bronze ADC CUBE winners will be included in the Art Directors Annual, the Annual Awards Exhibition in New York, invited to the Awards Presentation on May 10th, 2011 and their work will be included in the traveling exhibition, related advertising and promotional materials. All Cube winners will also be highlighted in the ADC online archive. Triumph with the ADC Student Brief powerfully broadcasts the caliber and talent of your students, educators and institution.
