Daily Inspiration: Short Film from Specialty Design Studio, Paperlux
German-based design studio Paperlux handles more than your average print design job. Specializing in premium, specialty print design and art projects using a unique method called paper etching, Paperlux has handled clients like Hermès, Volkswagon and Adidas.

For the past three years, Paperlux has developed projects for German graphic design magazine, Novum, including the colorful, bendable cover of the November 2011 issue available this month. The shiny, geometric, tactile qualities of the cover demonstrate a range of creative options made possible by Paperlux’s unique printing methods.
Bringing their creative process to light, Paperlux released a short film, below. The editing, music and cinematography capture the craftsmanship and creative spirit of this team of designers as they develop Novum’s magazine cover.
