FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising celebrated graduation at the Staples Center at L.A. Live last weekend. FIDMDigitalarts.com caught up with some Graphic Design and Digital Media graduates outside the building and asked “What three words describe your FIDM experience?”

Graphic Design graduate, Eric Acasio, was awarded the FIDM Graphic Design Student of the Year Award (shown below, left), and Digital Media graduate Justin “Jay” Trumbull was awarded the FIDM Digital Media Student of the Year Award (shown below, right).

Graduates also honored Evan Lampropoulos, a FIDM Alumnus who earned his Graphic Design Associate of Arts degree in December 2010. Many of the graduating students who were classmates with Lampropoulos, who passed away in March, worked together to design and produce the pin shown below. Photo by FIDM Alumna Giselle Blanco.
