Do you love magazine design? Check out FIDM’s Graphic Design/Branding Program.

If you have an interest in editorial or publication designs (hello, magazine lovers!), the Graphic Design/Branding program at FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising is worth exploring. As a graduate from this program, I especially enjoyed my Publication Design class, and my Typography class, where I learned to appreciate the careful assembly of images and type to create legible and harmonious design to capture a reader’s attention. For publication and typography lovers, The Society of Publication Designers Website is a great resource for inspiration. Check out one of the SPD articles here, which talks about the launch of a book all about magazine typography called TypoMag, published by IndexBook and curated by editorial designer Laura Meseguer. Check out photos below from the book, which you can order here.
