Two Graphic Design Students Launch Apparel Line, Asymetriq

From the FIDM Magazine:

Two Graphic Design Students who attend FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising’s Orange County campus, Juan Duque and Jamie Scoles, have launched Asymétriq, a graphic clothing company with an emphasis on simple, distinctive, and contemporary designs. “We both met in the seventh grade,” explains Juan. “I was new to the school and Jamie was my first friend that I made. We started talking and got along quite well. The rest is history.”

The pair of friends had a dream to own a clothing company together since high school. “After a long talk, we finally came to a decision that we would pursue our dreams of owning a clothing company together and make sure that we would make it happen,” says Jamie. “We inspire each other.” Juan and Jamie, who both design, sell, and manage the company, have started with a small range of graphic tees and plan to eventually expand to a full line.
