Description: AIGA LA and Adobe presents Moving from Print to Web – Part 3: Digital Publishing for Tablets and Touch Devices. An inside look at content creation, innovative solutions and interactive development for the iPad and touch devices.
Magazine and newspaper publishers have been facing great challenges in the past few years as advertising dollars for their print publications become harder to come by and news has become a commodity that is free and immediately available. The introduction of tablet devices last year has created a surge of new energy in the publishing arena as publishers have seen a way to combine the visually intricate designs of paper, with the compelling interactivity of devices. It’s easy to get publications of all types (magazines, newspapers, annual reports, catalogs and other corporate documents) through an application that can be distributed not only on the iPad, but also on a growing range of Android tablet devices.
Join AIGA/Los Angeles as they discuss that innovation and the creative opportunities that tablet and touch devices have to offer.
