FIDM on Signal Snowboards’ ETT Web Series
In a previous post, we told you about the unique industry collaboration between FIDM and Signal Snowboards in which Signal selected 11 snowboard designs by FIDM Graphic Design Students to be produced as one-off custom boards for FIDM’s DEBUT Runway Show.
The colorful snowboards produced by Signal Snowboards and designed by FIDM Graphic Design Students dazzled on the runway at the FIDM DEBUT last month. Signal’s own own team manager, Joey Yorba and pro boarder Pat Garvin were among the models who donned winter action sports attire designed by FIDM Advanced Fashion Design Student, Kelly Knaggs for the runway.
Eleven of the snowboard designs seen on the runway included those designed by FIDM Graphic Design Students Kelsi Calhoun, Jon Ezell, Henson Garcia, Regina Gomez, Patrick Lee, Joe Macri, Jade Mc Lain, Quinn Palmer, Krislyn Perez, Anthony Rodriguez and Angelica Villegas. On Signal’s ETT episode, you’ll get the story behind the twelfth board seen on the runway at DEBUT, a custom-designed board conceived and developed by Signal with a unique curvilinear tail and fabrics used in Knaggs’ collection.
