It’s always incredible to see how much work and effort goes into a photo shoot to capture a single image. Check out this video that photographer Joe McNally published on his Blog with some behind-the-scenes photos and details about the shoot on a New York City rooftop.
The photoshoot was for a print ad campaign for Epson (shown below). McNally worked with Epson’s pro division marketing manager/photographer, Dan Steinhardt as the art director, and ad agency M&C Saatchi LA, to photograph aerial specialists Rayshine Harris, Vitali Buza and Daniel Stover wearing patented anti-gravity boots to capture them “flying,” real time, over the New York City skyline.
He talks about some of the challenges of executing a photoshoot like this one- like the risk of rain during a rooftop shoot. View more of Joe McNally’s work at his website http://portfolio.joemcnally.com.
