Graphic Therapy is a New York-based creative agency specializing in creative marketing for the entertainment, fashion, beauty, and lifestyle industries. Their most exciting work includes music packages for clients like the Madonna, 30 Seconds to Mars, Interpol, and The Raconteurs to name a few.
Working on one of the aforementioned campaigns is a dream of students in the Graphic Design program at FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, who learn the fundamentals of music packaging design as part of their program. Graphic design students re-imagine existing music albums, and incorporate the fundamental principles and elements of design to develop solid packaging and campaigns for their imagined client. Under the direction of Kevin Reagan, who is a 3-time Grammy® award winner (Art Direction, Best Recording Package), for both Madonna’s Ray of Light and Music and for Dixie Chicks Home albums, FIDM graphic design students develop stunning work in a course titled Brand X. Some of these CD packages have also been selected to be displayed at the Grammy Museum at L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles until May.
