FIDM Launches a New Issue of The MODE (A Student Publication)– “The Green Issue.” Check out Photos from the launch party.

FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising hosted Students and Alumni at a launch party for student publication The MODE, a magazine that is written, photographed and designed by FIDM Students last weekend.

Many Graphic Design and Digital Media Students are members of The MODE , which is organized by the FIDM Student Activities department in collaboration with Faculty Advisor, Randy Dunbar, a Graphic Design Instructor who teaches publication design. Published bi-annually, students of all majors are involved in The MODE, working to organize and execute photo shoots, art direct the layout of the magazine, conceptualize and write articles, and develop their creative skills. caught up with Digital Media and Graphic Design Students and Alumni, some of whom were involved in the most recent issue of The MODE , called ‘the green issue’ and themed around the topic of sustainability. The event was hosted at a rooftop venue, 1010 Wilshire, in downtown Los Angeles. Check out photos and quotes below:
