From the FIDM Blog: Just Accepted Graphic Design Student Wants to Work for a Design Firm

Just Accepted Graphic Design Student Crystal Chau is thrilled to be starting her college education at FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising’s Orange County campus this fall. In her spare time, Chau writes poetry and practices Polynesian dance, and for now her focus is on FIDM.

FIDM-Graphic-Design-Student Crystal Chau“I am an open-minded free spirit who is always looking for new inspiration. Overall, I am a person who is constantly involved in the arts, whether it be graphic design, drawing, writing, photography, or dancing,” she says. “In the near future, I would like to be working for a design firm or more specifically, creating corporate identities or working for a magazine or clothing company.”

In FIDM’s Graphic Design program, Chau will have the opportunity study creative expression in all aspects of print media, including logo development, corporate identity, product branding and licensing, packaging, collateral material, and graphics for apparel products to facilitate the creation of design.
