Graphic Design Students at FIDM/SF Present Portfolios to Family & Friends at Apple

Graduating Graphic Design Students at FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising’s San Francisco campus were thrilled to present their final portfolio presentations for family and friends at the Apple Store Theater this month.

The informal presentation has become a tradition for FIDM San Francisco’s Graphic Design Department, who hosted the portfolio presentation for the eighth consecutive year, says Lisa Hoffman, Graphic Design Department Coordinator, FIDM/San Francisco.

“These students have worked hard over the last eighteen months honing their skills, learning new software, working with clients and inspiring each other,” she says.

Every year, the graduating Graphic Design Students also present their portfolios at a formal event to a panel of industry professionals the day prior to the informal portfolio presentation.

“They get to relax a little and share their work with the people they care about the most,” says Hoffman.
