Don’t Miss the Golden Trailer Awards for your Motion Graphics and Editing Inspiration

Do you love watching movie previews as much as the feature film? You’re not the only one. Check out the Golden Trailer Awards Website (here), which is solely dedicated to recognizing the best of the best in feature film previews. Judged by film industry notables, Golden Trailer Awards pays tribute to the creative people who develop the best trailer’s motion graphics, sound and editing.

Golden Trailer Awards was excited to see many recognizable trailer houses on the nominees and award-winners on this year’s 12th annual Golden Trailer Awards list. Major trailer houses like The Ant Farm, Create Advertising and Greenhaus GFX, where many Digital Media Alumni from FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising currently work, were all recognized as winners in various categories.

“Movie trailers play an increasingly important role in entertaining us and helping us determine where to spend our leisure time. The best trailers are works of art in their own right, expertly blending elements of cinema and advertising,” states the Golden Trailer Awards site. Broken into 16 categories including Best Motion/Title Graphics and Best Sound Editing, the site houses a video archive of previous years’ nominees and winning trailers for your visual inspiration.

If you’re an aspiring editor, motion graphics designer or sound designer, don’t miss the Golden Trailer Awards’ trailer house directory, which includes animation/effects studios, and sound studios.
