Get Inspired by Stop-Motion Animation Videos from Martha Stewart Living magazine for iPad.

Erin Jang/Graphic Designer

Erin Jang is a New York-based illustrator and graphic designer and an art director for Martha Stewart Living magazine. While perusing Jang’s flicker account, I came across these awesome stop-motion animation videos that Jang created for the iPad version of Martha Stewart Living.

The first one features Jang’s original orgami elements and lettering, photographed by Jonny Miller and edited by Philip Leamam. It’s pretty interesting to see the way that motion graphics are being incorporated into magazine design as the iPad gains momentum. Below are three examples of stop-motion animation videos art directed by Jang that were developed for the May, April and February 2011 iPad issues of Martha Steweart Living, respectively.
