Get Inspired by Beautiful Minimalist Colors & Typography in FIDM Grad Bas Mercado’s Music Packaging & Magazine Designs

It’s almost time to welcome another group of amazing students into the Graphic Design program at FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising with the Spring Quarter starting this week. For your visual inspiration, check out the final graphic design portfolio of recent FIDM Graphic Design/Branding grad, Sebastian “Bas” Mercado below.

We love the minimalist color palette, graphic elements and sans serif typography choices of his conceptual music/art/fashion magazine New Aesthetic, and Mercado demonstrates his passion for music packaging design in his re-design concept for The Black Key’s “Brothers” album.

“Finding out what kind of designer I am was the most rewarding part of my FIDM experience,” he says. “I would love to work in the music industry designing album art and merchandise.”
