Film Friday: SXSW 2014 Title Design Awards for Filmmaking Inspiration

It is only once a year during the highly anticipated SXSW music, film, and interactive conference that we feel slightly remorseful about living on the sunny west coast and so far from the festival’s Austin, Texas location.

Thankfully for sites like Art of the Title, we can immerse ourselves in the online coverage from afar to watch inspiring digital media videos as specific as the clips below, finalists in SXSW’s “Excellence in Title Design” Awards.

Title design is a great niche within filmmaking that serves as a great source for motion graphics and other digital storytelling inspiration. From video games to films and television shows, title design sets the tone for while serving to shares credits to the creators o the footage that follows or precedes it.
