DEADLINE EXTENDED to APRIL 29!
FIDMDigitalarts.com is excited to announce a T-shirt contest open to high school students! Create an inspirational graphic T-shirt design to celebrate Earth Day on April 22. The winner of the contest will receive a FIDM goody bag and the winning design will be featured on the FIDMDigitalarts Blog along with your photo and an interview with you!
1. Design a T-shirt around the theme of “A Clean, Green Tomorrow.” You may use computer graphics, illustration, felt tip markers, colored pencils, or watercolors to create your design. Research and think about alternate forms of energy such as solar, wind, water and thermal energy to get inspiration for your design.
2. Write a short essay (150 words or less) about how you came up with your idea.
3. Scan your design and your essay to email it to Blog Editor, Mani O’Brien, at mo’firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Monday, April 11 Friday, April 29 (deadline extended).
4. Download the FIDM Information card (click here or the icon below) and include it as an attachment in your email.
Designs will be judged based on originality, use of color, how well your design supports the theme, and consideration for the entirety of the T-shirt. You may submit ONE T-shirt design.
The winner of the contest will be announced on Friday, April 15 May 6 and your design and interview will be published on the FIDMDigitalarts Blog!
