Designer/artist Graham Moore, a Graphic Design Instructor at FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, was recently profiled in Imprint, a widely renowned graphic design Website and online affiliate of HOW Design and Print Magazine.
Design writer Michael Dooley features several of Moore’s collage art pieces and an interview with Moore, saying “I discovered Moore’s collage work at a local gallery last month and was immediately attracted to his imaginative transformations of pop culture ephemera, both retro and contemporary.”
Moore shares a thorough list of fine artists and designers who have inspired his work (shown below) in the article, entitled “A Designer’s Midcentury-Mod Music-Graphics Mashups.”
Bungalow Gallery will be displaying Moore’s collage art in an upcoming exhibit, Remix Revise Reframe, beginning August 17 (see details below), along with art by FIDM Lead/Instructor Liaison Anna Badua.
