FIDM Graphic Design Graduate Sarah Chiarot’s Portfolio… for your Visual Inspiration

At first glance at the Website for We the Urban, a funky fashion/music/culture online magazine, you can’t overlook its textured geometric logo. Splashing the background of the home page with colorful triangular shapes, the logo invites its viewer to take a closer look, revealing a subtle “W” and “U.”

I have to admit… we’re a little biased. The logo (a.k.a. the masthead) of the We the Urban magazine was designed by recent Graphic Design/Branding graduate, Sarah Chiarot, who earned her degree from FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. Chiarot included the We the Urban magazine logo in her final graphic design portfolio (shown below), which also includes her band poster designs, illustrations, mixed media postcards, music packaging and brand identity designs. Chiarot definitely has a recognizable style and great sense of color. Get ready to be inspired…
