Daily Inspiration: Hand-lettered Typographic Murals by Dana Tanamachi

If you think hand lettering is a difficult undertaking, try designing it in chalk. Dana Tanamachi, a Brooklyn, NY-based graphic designer and custom chalk letterer, develops exquisite typographic murals and signage that will put your graph-paper sketches to shame. Check this out… she doesn’t even use stencils. Watch one of Tanamachi’s time lapse videos below where she demonstrates her creative process.

As if her custom chalkboard designs weren’t cool enough– Tanamachi also works at Louise Fili Ltd., a NYC-based design studio, which specializes in logo, package, restaurant, and book design.
