Daily Inspiration: Three Animated Campaigns for Google, Samsung and Volkswagen

This Google Doodle designed by Ryan Woodward of Thought of You honoring contemporary dance legend, Martha Graham caught my eye last week. The design was developed using CSS and Javascript according to this blog post at Bubbling Thoughts.

This Volkswagen BlueMotion ad, incorporating motion graphics by TRS has a whimsical feel using animated sketch drawings. The ad campaign is part of Volkswagen’s new sustainability initiative so the lined paper and minimalist design elements make perfect sense.

This animation promoting Samsung’s SH100 “Coast to Coast Photo Post” ad campaign by Meckanism and Michael Langan is worth a look. The ad captures the adventurous spirit of the campaign, which will gather photographs from 25 “social influencers” from various cities across the U.S. to promote Samsung’s SH100 digital camera with online upload capabilities.
