Spirit of Space is a special creative agency that “uses digital media to celebrate and promote a greater awareness of designed environments for the architectural profession and the wider public audience.”
On their site, the Spirit of Space crew explain the impact of digital media as the “most effective tool to communicate the value of design” because of film’s ability to “transcend time, space, language, and culture.”
The firm focused its attention on FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising last year to develop a short video, published below, which highlights the unique environments that each of FIDM’s four campuses has to offer. Designed by Clive Wilkinson Architects, each of the unique interiors of FIDM’s campuses in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and Orange County, California are excellent environments to encourage and stimulate creative expression.
“This film reflects the exuberance of the fashion world by highlighting the bright colors and student activities. Combining four campuses into one film highlights the on-going relationship between the client and architect,” states the firm.
