Daily Inspiration: Killer Typography, Photography and Conceptual Ad Campaigns for Vans, Volcom & More by FIDM Graphic Design Grad

Like most creatives, recent FIDM graduate Martin Murillo is skilled in more than one area of design. Murillo’s portfolio reflects a strong sense of typography, scale and conceptual thinking– and he is a talented photographer too.

While studying Graphic Design/Branding at FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Murillo was a graphic design intern at Volcom, which inspired his conceptual ads for the brand. Murillo also art-directed and photographed his own shoots in order to develop conceptual advertising campaigns for Vans and Active, and conceptual brand Depict Clothing (shown below). From publication and layout design, book covers, logos and ad campaigns, Murillo’s portfolio offers a variety of strong design.
