To pinpoint the hot color trends for fall 2015, we looked to leading trend forecast company WGSN, as well as Pantone–the world’s authority on color trends– to research which colors would dominate our fashion, interior and graphic design this fall.
The trending colors for fall 2015 have been described as “decidedly ’70s” by Harper’s Bazaar’s Sarah Lindig. “From natural earth tones to groovy garden hues, it’s clear the boho theme has serious staying power.”
This fall’s color trends include earthy neutrals like herb greens and sage, to stormy grays, mixed with with pastels like orchid and apricot.
“Designers pay homage to progressive moments in American history — from the seductive ’20s to the bohemian hippies and modernists of the ’60s and ’70s,” Pantone says. “The colors are evocative of a love for nature and a timeless appreciation for warmth and security.”
