With so many exciting Adobe developments coming out, from Creative Cloud, to Muse, to the CS6 suite, it’s a great time to connect with the local design networking groups like AIGA, the professional association for design, and Adobe User Groups to stay informed of all the latest tips and tricks in design software.

FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising recently announced that all new and currently enrolled students will be receiving a licensed copy of the Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium this Summer. FIDM Students earning their Graphic Design degree or Digital Media degree will receive the Adobe Creative Suite 6 Master Collection, which includes Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Flash Builder 4.6.
“CS6 is going to open up a whole new set of options for students,” says Gene LeBrock, the Director for the Digital Media program at FIDM. “It allows the user to experience effects in real time. The dynamic linking between Premier Pro and After Effects is a real advantage and we’re going to start teaching Premier Pro more aggressively in the program.”

The vision of Adobe Creative Cloud is to turn previously difficult, disparate workflows into one intuitive, natural experience, allowing you to create freely and deliver ideas on any desktop, tablet, or handheld device.”
