Portfolio Week: FIDM Graphic Design Grad Candace Peoples Demonstrates a Strong Use of Typography and Layout Design

A recent Graphic Design graduate of FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Candace Peoples‘ final portfolio demonstrates strong typography and publication design skills in imagined digital magazine Renesans Man; a strong sense of color and branding in her concepts for Evolution Studio; and unique, conceptual art direction in her CD package redesign for TLC’s Crazy Sexy Cool album.

Candace’s career goals include designing for a magazine while continuing to freelance. When asked about the most rewarding part of her FIDM experience, she said, “The relationships I built with the students and faculty at FIDM was the most valuable [aspect]. I have learned so much about myself and design practices as a result.”
