Four Graphic Design Students who are members of the FIDM AIGA Student Group, The Red Dot, have submitted work in an annual design event showcase, EMERGE, hosted at the A+D Museum by AIGA , the professional association for design.
Nicole Antonian, Sam Arias, Marianna Holguin and Jessica Threde, who are earning their Graphic Design degrees at FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, have submitted samples of their graphic design work to be on display.
EMERGE features “emerging design talent” from approximately 90 designers attending colleges and universities in the greater Los Angeles area. EMERGE is sponsored by the AIGA/LA Education Committee, and will be on display from May 12 through June 30, with an opening reception this weekend (see below for full details).
“AIGA/LA hosted its first student exhibition in 2004 at California State University, Northridge, with the goal of bringing together work from design programs across LA, while providing attendees with the opportunity to see trends in design and design education,” states AIGA/LA.
Congratulations to all of the FIDM Graphic Design students who submitted their work!
