7 Imaginative & Inspiring Fictional Branding Projects by Recent FIDM Graphic Design Grads

We love perusing new graphic design portfolios produced by recent Graphic Design grads at FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising to scope out new graphic design trends and to get inspired by the work of young, up-and-coming talent. One category of work that recently stood out to us was the imaginative and functional branding applications used in various fictional branding projects. For example, some students take an existing brand, redesign the logo, and then use that new logo as a launch pad for an entirely new identity using real-world applications for authenticity. Other students create a fictional company and create all promotional assets from scratch. Below you will find great examples of these fictional branding applications in action.
