2011 “Poster Cabaret” Bike Print Set Giveaway from Grain Edit

Grain edit LogoGraphic designers, stop what you’re doing and direct your attention to our latest obsession, Grain Edit. Focused on classic design from the 1950s-1970s and contemporary designers that draw inspiration from that time period, the site content includes interviews, articles, designers’ libraries as well as examples of rare design annuals, type specimens, Ephemera, posters and vintage kids books from their bookshelves.

Featuring interviews with some of my favorite designers including Dan Stiles and Tad Capenter, a job board, and great type foundry recommendations, I was hooked upon first glance.

For example, check out details for this cool contest, the 2011 Poster Cabaret Bike Print Set Giveaway. Celebrating National Bike Month in May, Grain Edit is collaborating with Poster Cabaret, who curated a collection of bicycle-inspired art being exhibited at the Gallery Black Lagoon in Austin,TX starting Thursday May 5th.
